My brother and I sailed on the Norwegian Sun in May of 2018. It was a 3 night Bahama cruise. We sailed from Port Canaveral Cruise Port in Florida. She would be our second Norwegian Cruise Line cruise. Embarking was smooth and painless. We did not have a long wait and was on board in no time. She had a 3 deck atrium with gold trim. The carpets had swirls of blues and creams. The rich wood columns made the atrium look very elegant. Walking on board was a nice invite from the crew who were there to greet you, security and personal selling lanyards to spa information. The staff was very friendly. She was a small intimate ship.

Our Stateroom
We had a balcony cabin on deck 9 forward. Room 9025 was our stateroom. It was a roomy and cozy cabin. It had a king bed that converted to two twin beds which we had separated. There was an end table that separated our beds and lighting was on the mirror wall for a night light if needed. The decor was nice and modern, the furniture was in good shape but did show some signs of wear, the closet was good size and was stocked with plenty of hangers. There was a vanity desk with mirror and stool. It was also a console with drawers and storage area. A mini fridge was available and a hair dryer. The stateroom had plenty of area for storage and the beds were high enough to roll the empty luggage under for storage. The couch was a pull out bed that we did not use. The bathroom was decent, standard size, it had a shower, sink and toilet. There was plenty of soap and shampoo in the shower that was available if needed. The balcony had a table and two chairs and was a decent size. The stateroom was clean and our host was really attentive to our needs and kept us stocked with what we needed.
